About Us

Pack 20, a cub scout unit belonging to the Armadillo District of the Capitol Area Council, is one of Central Texas’ largest cub scout packs. Pack 20 has been in continuous existence since 1952, and is graciously chartered by Tarrytown United Methodist Church, located at 2601 Exposition Boulevard, in Austin, Texas.

The Pack serves cub scout-aged boys from 1st grade (Tigers) through 5th grade (WEBELOS II), having grown its membership from approximately 70-80 scouts in 2000, to around 100 scouts, where it has consistently remained over the last several years. Although the majority of its scouts attend Casis Elementary school, Pack 20 scouts reside in many different zip codes in central Austin. Its scouts enjoy attending monthly Pack meetings, participating in 3 annual family campouts, and going on exciting overnight adventures.
